Hello welcome to Odin Tours of Orkney, we specialise in personalised guided Orkney tours. My name is Frank Gaertner and I will be your personal driver guide. I am a member of OTGA and STGA and have worked as a Green Badge Orkney Tour Guide since 1999. I have a wealth of local knowledge and love showing visitors from all over the world around these wonderful islands. I fell in love with Orkney when I first came here on holiday over 30 years ago. I live with my wife Meg in a small croft on the island of Hoy. We keep Shetland sheep, the fleeces are used locally to produce superb handmade items. When we are not working we enjoy spending time in our beautiful garden or exploring the coastline.
Because your time in Orkney is precious it is really important that you see and do exactly what you want to at your own pace. Every tour is unique, tailored to your interests and preferences. I will help you plan your itinerary and make any necessary reservations. It is my aim to ensure you have a fantastic time in Orkney. As your personal driver guide I can show you well known places and some off the beaten track treasures in a spacious, Eco friendly, comfortable 7 seater vehicle. If you have a larger party I will be happy to arrange a bigger vehicle to accommodate your group.
